Think Pharmacy First

Pharmacists can give you advice on a range of conditions and suggest medicines that can help.

They may also be able to offer treatment and some prescription medicine for some conditions, without you needing to see a GP.

Many conditions can be treated without the need to see your GP.

Routine & Same Day

I have a non-urgent problem and can wait up to 10 days to be seen.

If you need an on the day appointment please complete the online triage form ...... before 10am. An advanced clinical practitioner or GP will review your request and aim to respond within 4 hours during our opening hours.

If you cannot access this form or prefer to speak to reception, please call 020 8949 0555. Please note reception will complete the exact same form on your behalf, so your request will be reviewed in the same way.

The surgery is changing the way we offer appointments to avoid the 'first come first serve' and all requests will be reviewed by a clinician in advance.

Ways to book:

Appointments FAQ

What changes are we making?

From August 2025, all patients who are capable, are to submit their appointment, medical or admin request via our Online Triage Consultation form. This includes appointments for Nurses, General Practitioner, Clinical Pharmacist or Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

Why are we making these changes?

The government issued a change which must be implemented by all general practice providers by October 2025. The new agreed contract is aimed to modernise general practice by requiring GP surgeries to allow patients to request appointments online throughout working hours from October, freeing up the phones for those who need them most and making it easier for practices to triage patients based on medical need. This is part of the government’s Plan for Change to make general practice fit for the future and will support GPs in taking the first steps to end the 8am scramble for appointments, which so many patients currently endure every day - in turn improving access to GPs for everyone.

What if I cannot use the internet or access online?

Patients & cares are still able to contact the surgery in person or over the phone as before. The only difference is that reception will complete the triage form on your behalf. There will be no change to how your appointment is triaged.

What type of response should I expect after submitting my online form?

For those requests that need to be seen on the day, we aim to contact that patient within 4 hours. The surgery has up to 72 hours to respond to your routine requests, however we aim to respond within 24hours. You will receive a response by phone call or text message as appropriate.

Will it be easier to get an appointment?

Yes. lets you consult with your GP online by completing a quick form which is reviewed by the practice. After reviewing your query, you will then be directed toward the most appropriate help. This might be some advice on self-help, pharmacy advice, an appointment with one of the practice clinical team or another service. Your data is secure at all times – including during a video consultation or telephone call.

What if I want to discuss results?

You can submit an online form or contact the surgery on the phone. Depending on the outcome of your results, the administrative team will book your follow up accordingly. If your results are normal but you wish to still speak about them, then we would offer you a routine appointment.

What if I want to book an appointment with another clinician?

You can request any other type of appointment via our online triage form, or you can call the surgery and book this in. For example you can message the surgery to say you need to book in your child's vaccines & as per your response request we will either call you with an appointment or send you a booking link.
